Thinking Positive can Change your Life

When you are having a problem or having a bad day and someone says to you “think positive” it can make you feel angry or that they just don’t understand. You might also think, "if you had my problems you would not think positive either". That is the way I used to think. Later on I learned that thinking positive can actually change your circumstances. It can also change the way you live your life and your future. God created our brain to benefit from the positive thoughts we have, certain “feel good” chemicals in are brain increase. The opposite is true when we think negative thoughts, the “feel good” chemicals decrease and negative chemicals increase.

This can be really noticeable when you are really worried about a problem, your brain and body can go into a “fight or flight response". When you worry about a problem a lot of times you will start to visualize the problem having a bad outcome. That goes into your subconscious mind and your subconscious mind does not know the difference between reality and what you are thinking. Your heart might start pounding, your body gets tense, you feel light-headed and you start to feel a sense of fear. The reason this happens is because your mind and body are in the “fight or flight response". Your subconscious mind thinks you are in a threatening situation and needs to get ready to defend yourself or run, but in reality you could just be sitting there intensely thinking about a problem. This constant negative thinking pattern can cause anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.

God also created the universe in such a way that when you are thinking positive you can attract positive things in your life. The same is true when you are thinking negative you can attract negative things into your life. If you have always had money, relationship and/or health problems it could be because you have thought negatively about them.

It sounds easy in theory to change your thoughts to positive ones, but if you are used to thinking negatively, then it is not so easy. We can show you techniques that can make it much easier. Check out our
